UIQ3 UI Wizard

This Wizard can design fully populated phone screens in a number of simple step.

Steps

1- Select Screen Type

2- Select Phone Style(s)

3- Select Container and Layout Manager Types

4- Populate with UI Controls and/or Building Blocks (note selected items in the example of the screen shot below)

5- Click Finish

Outcome

When you click "Finish" VistaMax generates the required screen. In this example a BMP Button, and Edwin, and Image UI Controls are seen. Also, there are two building blocks. In fact the whole screen is placed in a Design Resource (Resource 1) which contains the Container Object, Layout Manager Object, Container Settings, View Pages, etc  needed to generate the screen. No further intervention is required by user - for a full list of generated objects see Outline in the Screenshot below.

The individual components may then be selected, and its properties edited as normal, e.g. to choose an image file for an icon.

Note: Rectangles with rounded corners are collapsible. Double click inside the rectangle to expand it (to see contends) or collapse it to reduce size on screen.

A Design Resource is used so that it can be reduced in size so as not to over crowd the Editor view.

At this stage you can generate the code as normal, and build and deploy to emulator or device as normal.
